Today I'm grateful for girl friends. Girl friends that care, that text, phone and visit. I'm grateful for their words and their hugs, for holding me up and making me strong.
And I'm grateful to the Lord. I'm grateful for His word, His still small voice, His body and their gifts.
I know I CAN do this and I know that I NEED to do this. I MUST walk away... and into His presence that envelops me like a cloud. That fills me, covers me, hides me, protects me and refreshes me. My Maker is my soul mate, my friend, my sounding board, my helper, my protector, my provider, my lover, my husband! He will not humiliate me and disappoint me. He is faithful, he is honest, he is trustworthy and dependable. And I am grateful.
